Zero-Waste Marketing: Five Full Proof Ways to Attain Value from Your Content

If your business is keyword stuffing and link buying, hoping for the best to happen for SEO rankings and traffic in 2024, you need to reconsider your strategy.

News Alert šŸŸ„ Google is a semantic search engine. Connecting visitors to pages with queries or resolutions. Hereā€™s what this means:

  • SEO moves beyond targeting specific keywords to understanding the intent with which users browse.

  • Google uses algorithms to interpret the meaning of queries and deliver more relevant results.

  • Content creators must prioritize producing valuable, informative, and engaging content that meets user needs.

Today weā€™ll unfold a step-by-step method to ensure you create search-friendly content.

#Step 1: Locate Closely Related Phrases

Say you want to market ā€œcloud storage solutionsā€ through blog posts and ensure it is used effectively in all critical areas: title tag, headers, body text, and the Meta description. Next, we need to find and incorporate the semantically related phrases. Here are three sources you can use:

  • Search engine page results (SERPs): Scan through the search results. Look out for phrases in bold/ snippets of other high-ranking pages. Add these to your list.

  • The ā€˜people also ask boxā€™: related questions to your target phrase must also be a part of your list.

  • Through Googleā€™s keyword planner: Sign in to your Google Ads account. Navigate to Tools & Settings > Keyword Planner. Enter "cloud storage solutions" to see a list of related keywords and their search volumes.

#Step 2: Copy-Editing For SEO

The semantic SEO copy edit process helps shape detailed comprehensive writing. A few tips for SEO copy editors:

  • No keyword stuffing: Copypasta is unnecessary. Thereā€™s no point in attracting a visitor if you immediately turn them off with lengthy duplicated content.

  • Donā€™t worry about plural forms or grammatical variations: Search engines arenā€™t worried about minor differences. But more concerned about the search intent and meaning of content.

  • There is no perfect SEO copy: Search optimisation is an inexact science. Good content answering peopleā€™s queries will naturally be SEO-friendly.

#Step 3: Use AI to Refine Copy-Edited SEO

Gen AI is useful for editing copy. The best prompts include the following elements: role, goal, data, draft copy and detailed instructions. Steal this one ā¬‡ļø
