Wiz, the $12 billion cybersecurity titan, narrowly escaped a deepfake disaster. Hackers used CEO Assaf Rappaport's voice in a bid to swipe login credentials, but his team wasn't fooled. They detected it was fake because they were aware of his public speaking nerves as opposed to his chatty self in the deepfake message. Deepfake scams are on the rise, targeting even the biggest players like WPP.

Whisper, OpenAI's speech-to-text AI, is making waves for all the wrong reasons. Despite being used by 45,000 clinicians, it's been caught "hallucinating" phrases in medical transcriptions, which could lead to catastrophic misdiagnoses. A University of Michigan study found hallucinations in 80% of its transcriptions. Further research revealed 312 phantom phrases in 13,140 audio segments, with 38% containing harmful language.

The percentage increase in Satya Nadella’s pay last year despite his asking for a pay cut over cybersecurity issues. The Microsoft CEO now draws $79.1 million. Despite job cuts, Microsoft's revenue climbed 16% by June 2024. Nadella's cash pay was slashed, but stock options kept his earnings hefty. Critics call for a fairer share of wealth, questioning the need for such massive paychecks. In the tech arena, Tim Cook and Jensen Huang earn significantly less, while Elon Musk's potential payday of $56 billion remains unmatched.

Mine AI Gold
If AI is a goldmine, prompt engineering is a miner’s craft. Billionaire Mark Cuban says that if he could magically be 16, he would grind away perfecting it to usher in the gold rush...
Prompt-engineering is a big deal.
Entry-level AI tutors can earn $30,000 annually and if you choose to be a full-time prompt engineer, the slice of the pie is bigger with $129,500. You don’t need a college degree to become one with abundant online courses to help you get started.
Yet for a profession that seems within reach, the toil is real. We mean the promoting fatigue most can experience in their efforts to get the best responses. We break down mega-prompting and reveal a cheat code you can use to craft detailed prompts when deadlines show no mercy.
LET’S DIVE IN ⏬
#1 Your mega-prompt checklist
Mega prompts are like comprehensive lists. You pack all the details, background information, and instructions into a single, hefty command. A longer prompt can be beneficial if it:
Clarifies the task
Outlines expectations
Gives context
✏️ Example: We want to send an email launching a networking masterclass - ‘Mastering High-Impact Networking.’ In the past, we helped Levi Barbosa, co-founder and MD of WezOps Increase revenue by 200% while reducing working hours by 50%. Levi did this by tapping into an expert network we helped him discover.
Here’s a sample prompt 👇️
🤖 Write an email for Horizon Search's networking masterclass that:
1. Opens with Levi's 200% revenue growth story
2. Connects his success to expert networking (the course topic)
3. Includes: early bird pricing + seat limit
4. Max 200 words
Tone: Professional, not pushy
#2 Ideal chatbot for mega-prompts
Open AI’s structured approach to prompt generation sets it apart from Anthropic’s human-like Chatbot approach. Either can appeal to your style but we would go with Claude’s emails to potential clients. Claude is a knowledgeable friend with a distinct personality. Open AI’s responses to our prompt read more like a technical manual for a high-performance machine.
#3 A mega-prompt’s ideal length
Pay less attention to the overall size of a prompt, and more to the clarity of the prompt itself. Here are examples of redundant and refined prompt
🤖 Redundant: Write an attention-grabbing, captivating, and engaging hook that will make LinkedIn readers want to read more, feel intrigued, and stay interested in the content by using powerful words and emotional language that resonates with professional audiences.
🤖 Refined: Write a LinkedIn hook. Start with a pattern interrupt, use one emotion, and keep it under 20 words. Example: "Last week, I chose a junior employee to lead our biggest project. The seniors were furious."
#4 Emergency prompt generator
When running out of time, use ChatGPT to generate mega-prompts. Think of it as your backup plan, not your go-to strategy. Here’s a handy link to a mega-prompt generator GPT.
When to Use It: ✓ Tight deadlines looming ✓ Need a structural template quickly ✓ Starting point for complex topics ✓ Routine tasks you've done before
When NOT to Use It: × New projects requiring deep understanding × High-stakes communications × Strategy-critical content × Brand-sensitive materials
